A new addition to Access Doors And Panels’ line of insulated doors, the insulated fire rated access door for drywall - MIFAB can be used in walls and ceilings. Tests were conducted using milled steel and type 304 stainless steel. The MPFR-DW incorporates a drywall bead of the frame for a concealed frame application. Other special door features include 16 gauge satin coat steel, concealed pivot pins, self latching tool-key operated latch and/or ring operated latch, both included, and white primed finish.

Specifically designed for wall applications, MIFAB series MFRU uninsulated fire rated access door is approved by Underwriters Laboratories Inc., for 1 ½ hours, “B” label in walls and meets ANSI-UL 10B standards. It is also composed of 16 gauge satin coat steel, four pieces welded frame with masonry mounting straps, self latching tool-key operated latch and/or ring operated latch, both included, and white finish. This door has 15 to 20 days of lead time.
