It comes with a 2-hour fire rating while providing convenient access to these areas in your building. It has an easy pull handle for convenient use and a wide flange that covers all the opening edges, leaving a smooth aesthetic after any vertical installation.

Fire-Rated: These access doors are not like ordinary access panels used in the garbage or laundry chutes, as they come with a 2-hour fire rating. Its fire resistance will help slow the spread of the fire in emergencies. Temperature rises to a maximum of 250ºF/139ºC at 30 minutes, 450ºF/250ºC at 60 minutes.

Aesthetic Finish: Having extra security for your building should not have to compromise the building design and aesthetics. This access door comes with a wide flange that covers all the opening edges, leaving a smooth and aesthetic finish after installation.

Specifications

Frame: 16 gauge (1.61mm) steel. Depth “D”= 2 3/4” (70mm)

Wall Trim: Width 1 3/4” (45mm) with a 3/8” (9.52mm) return

Door Panel: 18 gauge (1.31mm) with 22 gauge (.085mm) liner with high-temperature insulation.

Hinges: Continuous stainless steel piano hinge opens to 180º. 

Finish: White prime-coated galvanized or 304 stainless steel with #4 finish.

Lock: The standard factory-installed latch is a non-locking “T”-Handle 1/4”.

Sizes: Made to order. The minimum size is 16” x 16”.

Options: 1 1/8” Mortise prep complete with mortise cylinder (M2), listed smoke gasket.
