24" x 24" Lead Lined Access Door

The KATR-LL access door is one of its kind with its lead lining feature. This access door model is best for medical facilities to help shield against radiation. The KATR-LL can be customized with various thicknesses of lead. 

This door can be installed in a suspended drywall ceiling. The door is an 18 gauge steel and the frame is a 16 gauge steel as well. Doors shall be recessed 1 ½” to accommodate double thickness of wall board. It comes with an exposed, continuous piano hinge. You can choose locks that are flush between the and screwdriver operated with a 1 ½” stainless steel cam and lock studs, or a key operated cylinder with an automatic dust shutter. It’s furnished with plastic grommet studs only to protect the hole made in the wall board. This specialty access door is painted with a prime coat of rust inhibitive electrostatic powder finish in white.
