FD2D - Fire Rated Double Leaf Access Door

The most oversized fire-rated access door in the market today, the FD2D Fire-rated Double Leaf Access Door comes with flexibility and durability. Its double-leaf feature reduces the risk of injury and accidents because of its limited swing radius. This fire-rated access door is made of galvannealed steel with a satin finish and is ideal for wall and ceiling installations. 

The 16 gauge frame has a removable center mullion with a frame depth of 57mm. The 18 gauge door panel comes with a 22 gauge liner and 1 ½” of high-temperature insulation material. Its hinges vary depending on the installation. It comes with the standard concealed continuous rod hinge, but 48” or longer in the wall position will come with a continuous piano hinge. 

The door panel comes with an automatic panel closer. All FD2D come with the standard latch, the flush mount ¼” Allen Key. All fire-rated locks come with a self-latching feature that includes an interior latch release that allows the door to open from the inside.
