FD2 fire-rated access panels are among the largest-sized access panels available today. Along with its convenient size, which is ideal in circumstances where removal of equipment is needed, it also comes with a 2-hour fire rating. This 30" x 36" fire-rated access door is perfect for vertical and horizontal installations.

Oversized: One of the large access panels with a fire-rating available today, the FD2 is convenient and provides easy access. It is also ideal for installations in locations where removal or installation of equipment is needed, and you need a bigger opening to fit more than a human-sized object. 

Durability: Despite being larger, it does not compromise or change the durability of the FD2 access panel. Its fire-rating quality comes from durable insulation materials giving it a more robust make than other access panels in the market.

• Frame: 16 or 14-gauge frame and door panel (depending on size). 7/8” or 1 1/4” trim
• (>36” x 36”)
• Door: 18 gauge face with a 22 gauge liner, 1 1/2” high-temperature insulation
• Finish: White prime-coated galvanized or 304 stainless steel with #4 finish.
• Lock: Automatic closer for the self-latching lock mechanism. 1/4” flush Allen key.
• Sizes: Wall - Maximum 60” W or 60” H. Ceiling - Maximum 36” x 36” or 30” x 48”. See
