The BRHU-BW White Steel Personnel Roof Hatch is an OSHA standards-compliant. It is an easy-install roof hatch ideal for authorized building personnel, installation team, and service staff that requires safe and quick access to commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings' roofs.

Cover: Reinforced formed metal cover with liner internally stiffened to hold a live load of 40psf. 

Curb:  

• Single wall curb with EZ tab counter-flash 

• mounting flange: 5/8 inch and 3/16 inch holes 

Insulation:  

• 1-inch polyiso R-6 in the curb 
• 1-inch polystyrene in the cover 

Gasket: It has extruded EPDM adhesive-backed gasket seal (continuous around the body). 

Spring: Gas spring with damper for smooth and safe lift assistance. 

Hinge: Heavy-duty pintle hinge with a stainless steel hinge pin. 

Hold Open Arm: Zinc-plated steel automatic hold open arm locks cover in an open position. 

Latch:  

• Zinc-plated steel slam latch  

• exterior and interior turn handles and padlock hasps;  
• 20psf wind uplift.
